The Wiz’s Story

I AM MICHAEL HUBBS

Michael Hubbs was raised in Dallas, TX and was born deaf. Attended mainstream school that offers deaf program with some deaf students. Raised by his grandparents on his father’s side. Raised by a poor family. His mother was never part of his life. Father wasn’t part of his life until he was about 10 or 11. His father has decided to go ahead and raise him and his sister. His sister is also deaf. His grandparents barely knew sign language so all access to communication at home was very low. Most of his access to sign language was deaf friends at school. He has gone through a very tough life such as an abusive babysitter and from his mother’s 2nd husband.

He found his passion at 10 in inline speed skating in Dallas, TX. Started competing at national level at 14 until 17’s. He was invited by one of the Olympic committees to train in Colorado Springs, CO. to pursue advanced lessons aiming for the future Olympics on the ice eventually. Unfortunately, he was forced to go to a deaf private school in Austin, TX. Couldn’t continue with his career and switched to swimming. Won State Championship in swimming during senior year in high school. He went to Gallaudet University and broke 7 collegiate records in swimming. He realized that swimming wasn’t his passion so he quit and decided to go back to speedskating after 10 years off but he was still physically fit since he was in swimming for a long time.

He moved to Salt Lake City, UT and decided to pursue speedskating on the ice and he gave everything he had to pursue qualifying for the US Olympic Team Trials for 2014 and 2018. Within 3 years, he caught up and qualified for 4 different distances to compete at the 2014 US Olympic Trials. Unfortunately, he didn’t make the team. Kept going, made it again for 2018 US Olympic Trials for all 4 different distances. Again, he didn’t make the top 3 to go to the Olympic Games. He has thought about competing for the Paralympics or Special Olympics but he has decided not to because it wouldn’t be fair to them since he has full physical abilities to do anything except for hearing. But during his speed skating career, he has broken the US National Record for age group in 50k, he has accomplished some races with gold medals including masters world championship and frequently broke his personal best in some distances.

After discovering day trading and cryptocurrency, he realizes it’s now his passion and he loves it!! Learning so many different ways about many different reports, companies, tech industry and everything was really amazing and exciting!! Bought bitcoin way back in 2015 and after a few years of huge loss and struggle, he never gave up. After losing few times, he had to go back to work to earn more money then start learning how to trade properly, lost everything in the stock market and cryptocurrency again and again… went back to work again but never gave up then after years and years of hard work, he has finally made it with over 70% winning rates and made $22,000 in 10 days. And he also bought Dogecoin before the price soared past 0.70 and bought his beautiful dream car worth $100,000 which is Mercedes Benz AMG-GTS. Now he’s really excited to share his power of knowledge and skill with others!
